This time it's Maladict, who was responsible for the breaking of fangirl's hearts all over the world during the final pages of the book. If you read it, you'll know why. Can't say anything else.
However, it does bring rise to the ultimate question: which pronoun? >_<
He -cough cough choke choke- is a reformed vampire. That is, he is addicted to coffee instead. This turns out to be a bit more of a nuisance then a blessing in the end, though. Polly's (for want of a better phrase) closest friend. It's a bit difficult, though...
